Arquitecture and Town planning projectos. COR and asociates

The project aims for an environment still occupy in the southern suburbs of Albacete. A place where only one paved road in sight and taken over for a huge amount of construction cranes buildings in the city to develop compact and high density urban development as a model repeated again and again. 

We understand that compact cities and high density is by its reduced footprint and resource management, possibly one of the most sustainable urban models. It is true that urban space could be considered higher quality standards for certain appropriations and urban than the result of the intersection of streets ... although we might dare say that this type of urban city is pretty optimal level. But where is the quality of living space, Like you live in housing units? The answer to this question raises, in our view, the biggest problem of this type of planning that prevails in all our cities.   

In this type of fabrics designed by planners from the road, reducing the form of residential buildings, construction, and certain percentages of ornamental standards, leave the house and therefore each of his room in a worrying situation. In most homes, the public rooms are placed in front and tied to small private courtyards or ventilation of dwellings as this solution constantly used today poses a clear problem.

There is now an investment in the housing model use if for a while the common areas were the least used, relegated almost to the use of sleep today, each person makes up a family develops personal dynamics, linked to only himself, such as studying, computer games, surf and socialize online, etc ... How many children have studied 20 years before a window overlooking a patio lights 3x3 feet, which never enters not a ray of sunshine, and the ventilation is poor, since many of these patios are shared kitchens, galleries and bathrooms?

Any new types of housing in the city limits require the exertion necessary to understand that not only has to adequately respond to future domestic needs of families, but also to help the urban events occur that change needed preset image we all have a new place but inhuman, complete services, but deserted by their remoteness from the center. No contribution to this type of exempt building appeal and isolated, or tower block with private plots, to isolate families of their immediate environment, as if the parcels were islands in a sea of streets for the car and speed.  

We propose a new type of block loop that houses 4 forests and 50 trees, so we get:    

1. That all the rooms in each house give façade, get direct light, and ventilation.  

2. That all homes are directly related to a large plantation of deciduous trees by maximizing the perimeter facade, which humanizes his "modus vivendi", reflecting the changing seasons.  

3. That the building, arranged over the plot ( focusing your garden into a magical interior) always produces the impression of being used overseas, not that one lives in an environment of isolation of a single floor, where the only exception among the non-used garden and non-used street is that they are divided by a fence. All the houses face the street and all the houses overlooking the woods.  

We understand that the type of housing should respond not only a social variety that has changed, and today is represented in multiple forms and combinations family structures.

The proposal must envision the future use (the next 40 years) and be able to transform as appropriate. We propose a simple housing system to reduce the typical bulky underused routes to multiple rooms where space is maximized for common rooms, concentrating facilities and spaces for storage and hygiene on the cold side of the house, and the rest of rooms are oriented to the warm front.

Effect is that the areas of relationship and family break relations with the outside like you have a forest to yourself, and the anterior surface of facilities, act as a cushion not only thermal and acoustic privacy, but also with regard to access.
