Signal Bus stop
Industrial Design Prototype - commercial use - 2008
It's nothing new that cities should work to get to position your image as a destination for quality in all its bets: tourist, business, boutique, linked to the health or relaxation ...
Work to achieve any of these images for our city goes, unquestionably, by commitment to quality in many different areas, but one of them is recurrent because of its importance: transport infrastructure, mobility or connection.
Whether big or small the city, the quality of the mobility of citizens is essential. In this case the bus is a paradigm to exist in each of our cities.

To date, this has been a missed opportunity.
Bus stops are small landmarks in the city, are places where people spend time, even more than in parks and plazas.

But they have always been regarded as waste within the image of the city has always sought to protect us from sun and rain, but rarely have generated something else.
How many stops are there in our city? If we stop to think ... a lot.
Imagine for a moment that they all generate a new imaginary, they all build a new way of reading the city, imagine that small stops become recognizable landmarks that allow us to read the city, or at least transport.
We propose a bus stop, which is capable of providing information over long distances. For an already existing GPRS signal on each bus, and depending on its proximity to the stop itself, it will gradually illuminating red (or color assigned to each line).
What we get is that since the stop is visible to us, we know if the bus is about to arrive or if it is away. Thus generating a new code in the city, allowing us to read their secrets. You could say that this stop reveals hidden information about the city.
This stop would allow the city that bet on it, positioned as a modern and current, with a more optimized use and management.
